This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit bisidavid.com or buy from us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
bisidavid.com is the official website of the Bisi David brand and is run by JO Properties Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. JO Properties Ltd is responsible for your personal information (the "data controller").

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean JO Properties Ltd.
2. What information we collect
When you buy from us: your name, email address, billing country, what you bought, the price and your order number. Your card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Personalised copies: to protect our work from unauthorised sharing, your email address and order number are printed on the pages of your copy of the guide and stored in the file's details. We also keep a record of your download link, its expiry and how many times it has been used, so we can deliver your guide, reissue it if needed and prevent misuse. The lawful basis is contract (delivering what you bought) and legitimate interests (protecting our content). Delivery emails are sent from our website hosting provider's mail server.
When you contact us: your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
When you claim a guarantee or refund: your order number, the screenshots or photos of your completed exercises, and your explanation of why the product did not help.
When you join a waitlist or mailing list: your name and email address, and a record that you agreed to hear from us.
When you visit the website: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is collected by our website host and the services listed in section 6.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as your immigration status, health or finances. The workbooks are for your own use. You only share what you choose to include in a guarantee claim or a message to us.
If your completed exercises show personal details you would rather keep private, you can cover them up before sending. We only need to see that the exercises were completed.
3. Why we use your information
UK data protection law says we must have a lawful reason for each way we use your information. These are ours:

We never sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted providers who help us run the business, such as our payment provider, our email and website hosting providers. They only receive what they need to do their job.
We may also share information if the law requires it, for example with HMRC or the police.
Transfers outside the UK. Some of these providers may store information outside the UK, including in the United States. When this happens, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires, such as approved data transfer agreements.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it, then delete it securely. Order and payment records are kept for 6 years, as UK tax law requires. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies and other services
bisidavid.com does not set its own cookies or use tracking or advertising tools.
- Google Fonts. Our text styles load from Google. Your browser connects to Google to fetch them, which shares your IP address with Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe checkout. When you click a buy button, you go to a Stripe payment page, which uses its own cookies to process payment safely and prevent fraud. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Links to other sites. Our pages link to social media, jopropertiesltd.co.uk and our waitlist site. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law, such as tax records.
- Ask us to limit how we use it, or object to us using it.
- Ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere.
- Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security. We use trusted providers and take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect it.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
